Let's prepare the Focaccia

To prepare a focaccia you will need:

- 500g of 00 flour;
- 200ml of warm water;
- 1 sachet of dry brewer's yeast;
- 3 tablespoons of Asta extra virgin olive oil
- Salt to taste.;

Focaccia and Procedure

Here are the various phases for the preparation and creation of focaccia:

1. In a large bowl combine the flour with the dry yeast and a pinch of salt. Add the extra virgin olive oil and warm water, mix well until a smooth mixture is formed.

2. Transfer the dough to a floured pastry board and knead until you obtain a smooth and elastic dough.

3. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rise for at least an hour, until it has doubled in volume.

4. Once the dough has risen, spread it on a baking tray greased with a little oil and sprinkle the surface with cherry tomatoes cut in half. Season with a drizzle of oil and sprinkle with oregano.

5. Bake the focaccia in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes, until it is golden and crunchy.

6. Let the focaccia cool slightly, cut it into pieces and serve it while still hot.



How to Stuff a Focaccia
